Email jackjack@tommy-haacke.com with what happened and what you expected. Your JackJack version, macOS version and Mac model help us understand the issue. Please leave private meeting content out of your message.
Before your first meeting
You need a Mac with Apple silicon and at least 16 GB of RAM. Intel Macs are not supported. Allow time and an internet connection for the initial model downloads, choose your knowledge folder and complete the audio check. Once the models are installed, meeting processing works offline.
The beta is available through Apple TestFlight. Install the latest available build there.
If audio or processing isn’t working
Check your selected input and audio permissions in JackJack Settings and macOS System Settings. Make sure the local models have finished downloading and your knowledge folder is accessible. If processing fails, keep the meeting and contact us with the displayed error so we can help with recovery.
Your files stay yours
Normal live captures are transcribed without saving an audio recording. Your transcripts and notes stay on your Mac, with readable Markdown files in your chosen knowledge folder. Uninstalling JackJack does not remove that folder or your independent backups.
Sharing diagnostics
If needed, we may ask you to export a support bundle. It is saved locally and is not automatically sent. Review it before attaching it to an email. You can also send beta feedback through TestFlight.
